Emily VanCamp

Emily VanCamp is a Canadian actress from Canada. Emily VanCamp was first known because of her work alongside Greg Berlanti. She worked as a regular in the WB drama Everwood, (2002-2006), as well as ABC the drama Brothers & Sisters, (2007-2010). VanCamp was able to gain more fame by playing the role that of Emily Thorne, the main character on ABC's Revenge series from 2011 until 2015. VanCamp was the main character on the Fox health drama The Resident between 2018 and 2021. The Resident is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she appears as Agent 13 Sharon Carter/Power Broker. She is featured in Captain America The Winter Soldier (2014 and Captain America Civil War (2016) as well as The Disney+ 2021 series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and what if ...? In 1998, VanCamp started to take an interest in acting when she visited her sister Katie in the production of the movie Ladies Room. After contacting an agent as well as appearing in several advertisements, she began taking class on the weekends. She was then cast as the principal character for the third and final episode special for Are you scared of the dark?, an Canadian horror anthology television series for children. The episode was titled "The Silver Sight" and in which she played opposite a 17-year-old Elisha Cuthbert. VanCamp played a character who attended only one scene, and didn't say a word.
