Jill Hennessy
The resident of Edmonton, Alberta has a mix of ancestry from Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. Jacqueline is her twin sister, and is an actor. While growing up, Jill became fluent in various languages like Italian, French and Spanish. Jill began to become interested in acting at the age of twelve. She began her acting career in Toronto by appearing in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers playing an escort with the twins of her. After that, she was studying improv with Second City under Deb Kimmet. After that, she moved in New York two years later after which she signed a deal to portray Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit lengthy-running show Law & Order. For the duration of her 3 year stint as a character, she also had the privilege of performing in feature films, such as RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1994), as well as I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). Her work was featured in a couple of forgettable films over the following months, and then landed her a leading role in the 1999 miniseries uremberg which was co-produced by Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York, Exit Wounds and other major productions were to follow. She was cast as a lead in NBC's crime series Crossing Jordan. And in 2007, for her contribution to the series, she received a Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding female lead in a drama Series". In 2000, she married fellow actor Paolo Mastropietro. They have two children. In 2007, she was awarded the honor of being at the Canadian Walk of Fame.
