Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden, born on the 14th of August, 1959, in La Jolla (California), was the third child of five. Beverly Bushfield, her mother employed as a domestic worker as Thad Harold Harden served working in the Army. The family relocated often -Harden first got interested in the theatre when the family was living in Greece and she been to plays in Athens. Harden started her education in American institutions in Europe and returned to the US to pursue her studies in the University of Texas in 1983 and then earned an MFA from NYU, and, thereafter, embarked on her acting career. She had already starred in one movie in 1986 in The Imagemaker, but her first role as a principal was in Miller's Crossing, the Coen Brothers humorous, witty reference to gangster film. Harden received good reviews for her stunning performance as Verna, a seductive, mischievous woman. Harden continued to work steadily in supporting roles, including the role of Ava Gardner in Sinatra (1992) the biopic for television that focused on Frank Sinatra. Marcia Marcia Marcia
