Catherine Ford is a British actress, born in Bloomsbury. When her father's departure from the family members, she was grew to maturity by her mother, godparents and grandmother. Ford suffered from anxiety disorder that was rooted in the word association when she was a teenager. Ford was intrigued by the profession of acting in her teens and became a member of the National Youth Theatre. Ford gained entry to the Sylvia Young Theatre School, but decided after a week that she was a poor choice for this school. Ford made an application at the Central School of Speech and Drama and eventually secured a position on her fourth attempt. Shaun Dingwall played Pete Tyler in Doctor Who. Ford graduated in 1993. But, before then, Ford made a television debut, appearing on Surgical Spirit in an episode that aired in 1990. Ford took the professional name of Catherine Tate. Tate was on television in the Nineties with shows such as The Bill and Men Behaving Badly. Tate also performed regularly at the theater, ultimately becoming a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company for its 2000-2001 season. But Tate soon began to garner notice for her stand-up comedy, which she added to her resume in the year 1996.
